211 LA's Core Services
Community Resource Advisors answer the 2-1-1 helpline 24/7. They assess people’s needs and connect them with appropriate resources and programs.
People can self-serve by searching 211 LA’s resource and events database online. 211 LA also provides informational articles, community events and program pages
People receive one-on-one follow-up support and advocacy from Care Coordinators, who empower them to overcome barriers in connecting with services.
Outreach Coordinators attend events, provide presentations and webinars, and utilize social media to spread information about 211 LA’s programs.

Aging Populations Services
211 LA has several programs dedicated to supporting our aging population: reporting line for suspected elder or dependent adult abuse; Area Agency on Aging hotline which connects older adults and adults with disabilities to services and follow-up to ensure services are received; LA Found Hotline to answer questions regarding the technological resources available for individuals with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and Autism or other cognitive impairments; and Ayudando a Quien Ayuda which connects caregivers to Care Coordination and supportive services.
Reentry Services
In collaboration with the Los Angeles Regional Reentry Partnership, Christ Centered Ministries, and Paving the Way Foundation, 211 LA leads the Restoring Lives, Investing and Networking in Community (ReLINC) program. This program offers one-on-one support for formerly incarcerated individuals and their families in connecting with a wide range of resources.
Early Childhood
211 LA provides assistance to high risk families in connecting with and becoming enrolled in quality early childcare and education programs; as well as conducts evidence-based developmental screening for the early identification of developmental delays. Children at-risk for delays/disabilities receive the needed Early Childhood Care Coordination to ensure timely and effective intervention services.
Homeless Families
211 LA is a first stop for many of the homeless individuals living in Los Angeles County, our homeless-related programs include: Homeless Outreach Initiative, which identifies the location of homeless individuals and sends teams out to provide services; Families Coming Home Together assists parents whose last step in reunifying with their children is to find housing; and Coordinated Entry System for Families provides emergency shelter to families and directly connects them with Family Solution Centers.
Mobility for Job Seekers
211 LA, in partnership with the Los Angeles County Office of Education, connects job club participants with transportation to jobs and employment-related services such as certificate training, interviews, pre-employment appointments, and vocational training
